Stated Objective(s):
Using a word processing program, some examples; Microsoft Word, open office.org Writer, Google Docs, MYAccess!, the students will create a KWL chart to organize what they know, what they want to learn, and what they learned on the topic of Pregnancy-How It Happens.
Students, in groups of two, will work together to organize and create an Infomercial using PowerPoint software to communicate to a friend the risks of being in a sexual relationship.

Stated Objective(s):
Using the Web have students look for videos that show how to feed a baby, preparing and saving formula, and any other web resources that they can add to the class wiki on this subject. Students post their findings on the Wikispace.
Demonstrate how to hold an infant for bottle feeding and how to hold a bottle properly.
Explain the benefits of breast milk for infant and mother’s health. Students will use a multimedia power point game to practice their knowledge about the benefits of feeding an infant.
Gather, synthesize and evaluate available information to make a decision about which feeding options would be best for you and using a word processing write a short essay expressing their point of view.
